Brittany Ferries ‘Find Your Place’ Campaign

Brittany Ferries has been operating since the 70’s and since then has amassed a wealth of knowledge about the best places to visit in France & Spain. ‘Find Your Place’ is about showing a unique view of these places and helping people to discover new things about France & Spain.

Digital Designer: Charlotte Gray
Art Director: Tommy Allen

The campaign included print advertising, radio, VOD (video-on-demand) and YouTube Director Mix (a platform that allows YouTube advertising to be customised for different target audiences). So the film needed to be flexible. We created the main 30s film in a way that gave us a library of easily interchangeable scenes, meaning that we could quickly create a wide selection of shorter, more targeted ads for YouTube Director Mix and online advertising.

The film and print ads focus on specific moments in time where customers have ‘found their place’, capturing a real-time glimpse into their trip and immersing the viewer in a genuine travel moment.

I sourced stock footage, illustrated the typographic overlays, created storyboards and worked with Tommy Allen (Art Director) and the team at Progress Film Co. to build the films. I also created the print adverts, digital banner advertising and social media templates.
